Cancellations, Lateness and No-Show Policy
Cancellations, lateness and no shows are events that are, on occasion, unavoidable. Each one can mean loss of income for me, so to ensure that my time is not being wasted I have put the following policy in place.
You will usually receive a text/email reminder at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to check that you are still attending. However if this does not happen for any reason it remains your responsibility to remember to attend or inform me of cancellation.
In the event that you are unable to attend your appointment for any reason please let me know as soon as possible, ideally with at least 24 hours notice. This gives me the opportunity to fill the appointment with another client. In the event of an emergency or unforeseen circumstances this is obviously not always possible, in these cases I would ask that you get in touch as soon as you are able.
If for any reason I have to cancel your appointment I will give you as much notice as I can and I will endeavour to reschedule as soon as is convenient.
If you arrive late without prior notice your appointment will still end at the expected time and you will still be charged full price. Your appointment may need to be rescheduled if I do not have enough time to carry out your treatment; if this is the case I may charge a fee amounting to no more than the full price of the treatment. If I am late for any reason I will ensure that you get the full treatment time or I will offer a discount or reschedule if this is not possible.
If you do not attend your appointment and do not contact me I will attempt to contact you to find out what happened. I appreciate that sometimes emergencies happen and you are not able to let me know that you cannot attend but I would be grateful if you do get in touch as soon as possible. Failure to do so may mean that I will not accept any future booking from you.
I reserve the right to charge a fee for missed appointments.
